Tariffs
Our tariffs are adjusted by season, Adventure, cabin occupancy, age and the cabin selected. During 2006 the regular tariff is £495 per week for those over 16. As a guide, except holidays, this goes up by 10% during July and August and down by 10% during March, April and May. This is an inclusive amount for full board and fully crewed Adventures. It includes occasional tea, coffee, soft drinks during the day, fruit and Erin’s goodies for you to help yourself to, pretty much most things! It doesn’t include any visits you make off the boats to castles, steam railways or similar!

What if I need to cancel? |
|
If cancellation is requested in writing six months or more prior to a cruise, the deposit will be retained but the balance will not be debited from your credit or debit account. After this period you are fully responsible for the complete payment of the Adventure. You may wish to take cancellation insurance.
If having booked an Adventure with FriendShips you subsequently wish to select a different date we shall endeavor to meet your request without making any supplementary charge.

How do I know exactly where I will meet you? |

We can tell you in advance the area we shall be. Please phone us the night before embarking for an exact location.

Can children or young people come? |

Children and young people are welcome. We offer a 50% discount on young people 15 or under.

I am a vegetarian, will you be able to provide for me? |
|
Absolutely, our crew have great culinary skills and will serve you with mouthwatering and highly nutritious dishes. Vegetables are always fresh, cooked gently and whenever possible organic. We don't serve highly processed foods and avoid foods that have high fat, sugar or salt content. All our meals are made only from plants and their derivatives.

I am coming on my own, are there single person supplements? |

Is it necessary for under 18s to be accompanied by someone 18 or over? |

No. If you are 12 or over you can come unaccompanied with your parents' consent. |

We don’t have a bar and you are welcome to bring whatever drinks you like. There are soft drinks available including fruit drinks that are included in the full board tariff of each Adventure.
There are times when additional smoothies and awesome fruit delights are optionally available for purchase.

Can I charge my mobile phone or camcorder whilst on board? |

Yes, we have 230 - 240v a/c supply on board.

Great question. Views are divided. We've had lots of requests from dog owners for them to bring their dogs and some requests from those who don't want dogs on board.
We've decided to accept a limited number of dogs for the 2006 season. This will usually mean only one dog on any Adventure and be conditional on the dog not disturbing people. Please phone for details.

Do I get a discount if I book both boats for exclusive use? |
|
Yes, the exclusive use of both boats, with full crew and full board is equal to that of eight adults for the Adventure selected.

The Adventure I am coming on travels near to a friend of mine. Would it be possible for them to visit me? |
|
They will be very welcome and could travel with us during the day without charge. However please discuss this with us before inviting them. Should you wish to invite them to stay for the evening meal please make this clear in advance. It it probable that you will be able to eat with them in the second lounge if you prefer.

What time is it convenient for me to arrive? |

In time for afternoon tea at 4pm, if you plan to arrive early it will be possible for you to leave your luggage on the boats before returning later.
